What are Telegram Gifts?
Overview
Telegram Gifts are unique digital collectibles that users can send to each other within the Telegram messenger. Each gift is an NFT (Non-Fungible Token) on the TON blockchain, making it a verifiable and tradeable digital asset.
How Gifts Work
Every gift consists of three visual components: a model (the central object), a backdrop (the background color/pattern), and a symbol (small repeating icons). This combination makes each gift visually unique. Gifts can be displayed on your Telegram profile and traded on NFT marketplaces.
Collections
Gifts are organized into collections, each with a common theme — from Plush Pepes to Eternal Roses. Each collection contains multiple model variants with different rarity levels. Rarer models are minted less frequently and are generally more valuable.
Rarity
Each model in a collection has a rarity percentage that determines how often it appears when a gift from that collection is minted. Models with lower percentages (e.g., 1%) are rarer and typically more sought after by collectors.
Where to Trade
Telegram Gifts can be traded on several NFT marketplaces including Fragment (fragment.com), Getgems (getgems.io), and other TON-based platforms. Prices are denominated in TON, the native cryptocurrency of the TON blockchain.
